Introduction
The original deviants club is a community for people with original characters, stories, comics, etc. to get their works appreciated more. This club emphasizes on creativity, the exchange of ideas, and, of course, originality. There will be things to do, such as contests, and possibly group projects and a website. We are open to any kind and every kind of art and prose, and everyone is free to join!

12.15.03//Well, my computer went to the shits, as (maybe) you've probably read in my personal gallery's journal. And on said computer was a little notepad file with all of your votes. And of course, that notepad file with down with it. Right now the computer's at the Computer Zone in the mall, being looked at, and if the problem is the motherboard, then I would have to get a new one, therefore losing said notepad file with all of your votes. Ugh, I really need to start using disks...

Anyway, I would like everyone who has voted thus far (and people who haven't yet) to renote me about their votes. Including the ones who have put their votes in the form of journl comments. Thank you!

Contest
September- Mascot Contest
Design a mascot for the club! The rules are simple:
1- Cannot be a fanart.
2- Must be a completely original character- one that you just made up, not one of your other ones.
3- Has to be a full body view, or show at least most of the legs/pants/etc.
4- Can be male or female, anime, anthro, realistic, anything. No discriminations will be made.
5- Must allow others to draw it, and allow it to be used as a deviant ID and/or icon. Of course, credit will always be given to the creator of the mascot.
6- Be creative and have fun!
